Seeing My Field In Daily Life

Despite not meeting with my mentor for three weeks, I haven't ceased to learn about my field through various articles, deeper study of the information my mentor has given me over the past few months, and close attention to the relevancy of biomedical imaging in everyday life.

With health care as it is, thousands of scans occur every day, and it's pretty often that a friend or family member mentions someone they know being tested for or diagnosed with a disease. Because of this, one thing I've done to learn more about my field in the broad sense, in absence of regular meetings, is research the diagnostic process and imaging device of choice for various diseases.

Who Am I?

I am a senior at Hogwarts... I mean, at Liberty High School. This year, I will be studying radiology and biomedical imaging through my school's Independent Study and Mentorship program.
